One-of-a-kind pullover knit shirt made from dead stock material
-Design・Material-
A pullover knit shirt made using material like a color swatch when choosing fabric colors called a mass sample.
When creating the yarn-dyed material, the fabric (mass sample) is woven with various color yarns in both the warp and weft directions, making it completely unsuitable for mass production.
It has only been used as a reference for coloring the fabric in the process before producing the material, but due to the enormous cost, it has become quite rare to create it in modern times.
However, SEVEN BY SEVEN has been steadily collecting dead stock materials, noticing the interest in this mass sample fabric.
Finally, we were able to collect enough volume to make clothing, so we are developing it in several variations of styles.
This is a piece with the dead stock mass sample fabric placed on the front of the pullover knit shirt.
-Comment-
Please enjoy the unique gradation of this material, the difference in texture for each part, and the variation in colors that change towards the hem, resulting in the differences in patterns created by the assortment.

THEME OF SEVEN BY SEVEN is the city where the designer spent most of their twenties, San Francisco. The brand name comes from San Francisco's nickname "SEVEN BY SEVEN".
(San Francisco is called that because it fits within an area of "49 miles", represented as "7 miles x 7 miles".)
Influenced by the free strength of various people encountered during days spent visiting vintage warehouses, the brand expresses those experiences.
The brand started with remakes and officially launched as an original brand in 2015.
SEVEN BY SEVEN Designer Profile
Designer is Junya Kawakami, born in 1978.
Since 1998, he has been going back and forth to the United States while engaging in vintage buying.
After returning to Japan, he started the concept shop 7×7 and SEVEN BY SEVEN.
