Using high-quality 8.9-ounce linen material that combines breathability and moderate thickness, carefully woven at a domestic factory.
After applying pigment dye at the fabric stage, an additional layer of pigment coating is applied to the surface, a very labor-intensive two-step process.
The unique matte luster and shadow created by the non-uniform deep color variations and the coating resting over the linen's characteristic neppiness are its biggest charms.
With repeated wear and washing, the coating gradually settles, creating a worn-in feel and transforming into a richly textured expression over time, just like vintage denim.
