The fabric, meticulously knitted in a refined 12-gauge jersey, has fibers that are very fine and long, featuring a melt-in-your-mouth smooth texture without any prickliness or stiffness typical of wool, which is its greatest characteristic.
Furthermore, by not undergoing chemical bleaching processes that burden the raw fibers, the inherent softness and natural colors of cashmere are brought out as they are.
