New brand "WONDER ROOM" has arrived!

From the spring/summer season of 2025, the handling of "WONDER ROOM" will start.

It is already on display at the store, but
in this blog, I would like to give you more details about the brand and the items that have arrived.

WONDER ROOM

The theme is "What is truly necessary clothing in this world?"
It is a brand that creates products infused with the materiality, artistry, and warmth of people, to convey the universal value created by the unique qualities and history of true craftsmen to future generations.

Starting from the spring/summer season of 2025.
WONDER ROOM means the room of wonders.
It is named after a museum exhibition room that collected various curios created in Europe from the 15th to the 18th century.

The products created by WONDER ROOM are very well made.

I thought about how to convey the charm in words, but to put it bluntly.
The fabric is truly amazing.

When you are deeply moved, your vocabulary sometimes flies away,
it felt that way when I first wore it. Haha.
The details of that charm will be laid out below.

This delivery includes three types of sweat tops, two types of bottoms, and a wide range of waffle cut-and-sew.

There are three types of fabrics available, so I will introduce each item according to the characteristics of the fabric.

First, I personally recommend the waffle.

Fabric developed and produced in a domestic factory with 70 years of history, capable of making fabric for world-class maison brands.

The three commitments of the waffle proposed by WONDER ROOM are:
⚫︎ To create a solid texture on the surface while preventing shrinkage.
⚫︎ To achieve the best skin feel while ensuring good kickback.
⚫︎ High wash durability.
And all these are expressed in 100% cotton.

When I thought about what makes a good thermal... it covers points and concerns that come to mind.
The moment I actually touched it, the softness of the fabric and its texture,
I realized this is what an "ideal waffle fabric" is.

Moreover, in order to create this fabric, they produced over 30 samples and conducted more than 300 wash tests.
It's also nice to see that they are considering long-term use.

The silhouette has a good amount of ease, and I personally thought it was great that the “inner feeling” isn’t too strong.

The thermal could be a great one for the coming spring. I recommend it.

WONDER ROOM "Waffle Cut-and-Sew"

Next is this one.
There are four types of sweat fabric "FRIEND" with crew necks, hoodies, easy slacks, and shorts.

Based on machines imported from overseas, they uniquely developed machines that combine the good points of loop knitting and jacquard knitting, enabling high-density knitting.
By changing the quality of the yarn and twisting the threads of the outer, middle, and inner layers, they have finished a sweat fabric that combines excellent comfort with elegance.

Though the fabric isn't thin, it offers a very light wearing comfort.
The stress-free and pleasant wearing experience is probably a proof of the soft texture achieved by jacquard knitting.

Of course, the pattern also shows commitment.
This shoulder's curved cut is distinctive.
The smooth curve contributes not only to design but also to ease of wear (ease of movement).

The bottoms also have distinctive silhouettes.
While they are voluminous, the gentle tapered silhouette gives off a sense of elegance.

Since there’s no rough feeling typical of sweats and the surface of the fabric is very smooth, it goes well with slightly shiny leather shoes.

By the way, this fabric also has wash resistance, so you can enjoy it for a long time.

The shorts are not yet on display in the store, but for those who are interested, please feel free to ask.
It's certain that these fabric shorts are great...If you have them in summer...
I can only see a future of heavy rotation.

WONDER ROOM "Sweat Shorts"

Finally, here is the last one.
This is the sweat fabric "WHALE" that combines overwhelming density and softness, with a unique finish.

It has thicker material compared to the previous "FRIEND", with a tightly packed texture.
When the fabric has thickness, it often feels coarse or oddly stiff,
but this is not the case; the softness is the first thing you feel when touching it.

I really hope you get to touch it at least once, I strongly believe it is a piece worth having.

This fabric, which has both density and softness, is made in a domestic factory with over 100 years of history.
It uses a machine called "No. 45" introduced about 80 years ago, which is distinct from standard mass-production machines,
but it knits only 30 cm per hour.

This analog and clumsy process creates the unique comfort of "WHALE".
It’s a piece that reminds us of the important sensations that have been lost due to the pursuit of convenience, with a warm touch.
