Blanc YM "2023 Spring/Summer 1st Delivery"

Items for the spring and summer season have started to arrive from each brand.
　

Today, I would like to introduce the items from Blanc YM1st Delivery among the newly arrived items.

First, about the brand.

Blanc YM

Launched in spring and summer 2016 by designer Hirotaro Miyauchi.
The brand name "Blanc" means "white" in French,
but it was named with the desire to create not white clothes, but clothes with negative space or without color.

The concept is "Universality, Diversity, +α".
It proposes minimal designs that blend into everyday wardrobes, regardless of men's or women's wear.
And while it is a minimal design, it adds details that create a sense of incongruity, making it a brand that delivers clothes that seem familiar yet are not.

You can clearly feel that concept when looking at the items that have just arrived.

A short coat boldly cut from a trench coat.
It is a staple and popular item from Blanc YM that is developed while being brushed up every season.

The unique design that deliberately leaves the pocket fabric long creates a sense of "incongruity".
　

Styling it in a stylish way by fastening the button at the lapel tip or tightening the waist belt adds variation to the silhouette.

The fabric for the spring and summer 2023 season is stretch chino made in the Bishu region (Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture).

It uses cotton slub yarn for the thread, achieving both a soft touch and moderate thickness.

The beautiful "beige" with a hint of khaki is not too bright or too dark, making it a perfect color for styling in the upcoming season…!

And one more item I would like to introduce is this one, which was also worn in the look.

A wrap-style long coat derived from the oversized trench coat, a staple of Blanc YM.
An elegant piece with a luxurious sheen made of 100% silk.

The button features a clean "minimal" design with only the collar part having a stand collar and the underside of the lapel.
Wearing it closed for an even more minimal look is also stylish.

And the charm of this coat is undoubtedly its luster.
Its true nature is the silk shantung fabric made with fine silk yarn.
The unique texture is characterized by the neps that appear horizontally in the slub yarn.

The delicate parts reminiscent of fine silk thread and the areas where lumps appear here and there.
This natural, randomly appearing uneven expression is irresistible.

Gold shows clearer shades due to the slub yarn.

With a relaxed armhole, it can be worn over any innerwear.
