From the spring/summer season of 2024, the handling of "BELPER" will start!

When looking at and touching clothes, it is characterized by a feeling of being stylish and wearable, and also feeling the creation from there.

When creating a collection, I avoid obscure and conceptual ideas and cherish relatively simple ideas.

BELPER is also characterized by being inspired by the fashion of movie characters for each collection.

The theme for the 2024 spring/summer season is the movie "Buffalo '66," directed and starring Vincent Gallo.

It depicts the process of a lonely man named Billy growing and beginning to have hope for the future through his involvement with the kidnapped woman Leila,
in an offbeat movie that feels like 90s culture.

You can feel the nostalgic worldview of the movie and the colors of the 90s from the looks.

For example,
the style of tight striped tops combined with red boots that the protagonist Billy wore in the movie, and
looks reminiscent of the scene where Billy and Leila lie in bed.

By the way, the Japanese catchphrase when the movie was released was "The worst me was visited by a superb angel."
(The sense of the 90s felt from the title is also somehow nice…)

The changes in the protagonist's inner self and a light romance are depicted,
it's a wonderful film that warms your heart a little after watching, so please take a look when you have some time◎

Even if you don't watch the movie, it's a charming lineup that you can purely think "cute!"
