YOKE ( MENS ) / YOKE Hand Painted Lawn Loose Fit Shirt
Shirt Worn with the Lightness of Kyo-Yuzen
-Design-
A regular collar shirt made from cotton-rayon-silk cloned material, hand-painted by craftsmen in Kyoto, inspired by the works of Max Ernst.
The characteristic is that the pattern appears differently depending on the angle.
It is made from a very comfortable material to the skin, so you can wear it comfortably even in midsummer.
This piece is filled with the quality of the material and craftsmanship that you can feel comfortable with every time you wear it.
-Material-
A light and high-quality material that combines the natural texture of cotton with the drape of rayon and the smooth feel of silk.
By loosely weaving thin threads, it achieves a soft fluffiness and a light wearing comfort that feels like it contains air.
While it has a moderately relaxed appearance, the balance of fitting snugly to the skin when worn is appealing.
The pattern is based on the traditional hand-painting technique of Kyo-Yuzen, modernized for a contemporary arrangement.
The colors, carefully layered by the artisan's hand from sketch to coloring, create depth and a soft expression that is not found in machine printing.
Furthermore, by going through the steaming and washing process, the colors are firmly set, and the quality is carefully finished.

YOKE is a Japanese unisex fashion brand that started with the concept of "connecting".
Focusing on materials and patterns, it proposes sophisticated items that add contemporary elements to standard items.
The brand name "YOKE" means "connect", "bond", and "switching fabric for clothing", which relates to the brand's concept.
A series of processes including raw materials → yarn → fabric → cutting → sewing → finishing involves many people, and clothing is realized by their "connection". This reflects the belief that "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things".
